(C-Platoon) Apartment Fire Box 5481

Just after 8:00AM this morning, Stations 54, 56 and mutual aid units were alerted to the 100 block of Treetops Ln in the Tree Top Apartments in East Goshen Township for an apartment fire. The initial caller was reporting a haze in the area of the above location.

Ladder 56, Engine 54-1, and Squad 56 all made the response within minutes of being dispatched. Assistant 54 arrived and reported a fire on the deck and requested the working fire dispatch. Engine 54-1 arrived as the first due engine and stretched a 400โ€™ attack line with Ladder 56 arriving soon after, taking the first due truck assignment. Squad 56 arrived and secured a water supply and assisted with fire suppression and overhaul.

We are proud to serve the citizens of East Goshen Township

Four years ago, we lost a beloved member of our department after his courageous battle with COVID-19.

Officer Micun is remembered for his dedication to the community, his professionalism, and his infectious laughter that could brighten any room.

His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
