Flexibility is about how far a muscle can stretch. Mobility is about how well a joint moves.
Flexibility reflects muscle length and tissue health.
Mobility reflects joint capsule health, bone glide, and how safely your nervous system allows movement.

You can stretch every day and still have poor mobility. When joints stop moving well, the body compensates, muscles tighten to protect, and movement quality starts to decline, often quietly at first.

Limited flexibility and limited mobility are not just inconveniences. They are early signs of movement decline.
Both matter. Together, they determine how well your body moves today and how long it will keep moving well.
