How fascinating to see your feet on your mini 🦶💙

Feet are your foundation, and they constantly send info about balance, stability, pressure, and control.

When foot control is limited, the body often compensates higher up through the knees, hips, core—and pelvic floor.

The pelvic floor doesn’t work alone!
It works as part of a system with your diaphragm, abs, hips, and the ground beneath you.

Better foot strength + balance can improve:
• stability during movement
• coordination through the core
• single-leg control
• running mechanics
• how your body manages pressure

Sometimes pelvic floor symptoms aren’t just about the pelvis—they can start from the ground up.

This is why we look at the whole body, not just one area. 👀

Getting emails like this always make me so happy!

Having a pelvic PT as part of your birth prep team can be a great addition to help a woman feel more informed and take an active role in her plan.

I love sharing my knowledge and encouragement with moms-to-be. 🤰🏻💙

Waking up multiple times a night to use the bathroom can feel frustrating—and exhausting. 💦

This is known as nocturia, and while many people assume it’s just part of aging or stress, it’s often your body signaling that something deeper is going on.

There are multiple systems that can contribute, including hormones, sleep quality, hydration habits, and pelvic floor function.

The goal isn’t just to manage the symptom—it’s to understand the root cause.

If this is happening consistently or suddenly, it’s always best to check in with your healthcare provider first.

And from there, looking at the full picture can make a big difference.

We talk a lot about movement for health… but light is just as important this time of year. These long stretches of cloudy winter days can throw off sleep, mood, focus, and even recovery. A few minutes of daily light exposure can make a big difference in how your body and brain are functioning.

Sunlight helps regulate your circadian rhythm, which impacts sleep, hormone balance, metabolism, and mood. During winter (especially when it’s been this gray out), so tools like this can be really helpful! ☀️☁️
