Meet Maria, one of the meditation teachers for tomorrow!

My name is Maria. I am about to graduate from the Master of Social Work program of West Chester University. I am also a student in the Integrative Health certificate program of WCU. I currently work as a therapist intern leading therapeutic movement groups, a trauma support groups for women, and psychotherapy for adults. My area of interest includes mind and body health among youth and adults. I love learning about how our bodies are our true vehicles of change. I have been meditating since I was a ten. Now that I'm an adult I realize the true benefits of meditation and mindfulness. I'm always excited to share about the importance of mindfulness meditation, while making it something attainable, simple, and effective for anyone who needs to calm their mind.
