Heartfelt appreciation to all who joined us on Wednesday to celebrate our dear friend and maestro photographer Greg Gorman, and the opening of our exhibition of his phenomenal portraits of artist Ed Ruscha at the Fairfax flagship campus. As always, Greg Gorman, we are in awe of your talent and vision!

The exhibition remains on view at 900 N. Fairfax through Saturday (2/28) during regular business hours (10-6).

Special thanks to Luli Wines and Sara Floyd MS for their generosity.

For those of you in Los Angeles preparing for Frieze and Felix Art Fair frolicking this week: ⁠

YOU’RE INVITED to join us this Wednesday, February 25 (2:00pm to 6:00pm) for the opening of “DUOLOGUE: Greg Gorman & Ed Ruscha” at the l.a.Eyeworks Fairfax flagship campus.⁠
⁠
On view will be a suite of seventeen portraits of artist Ed Ruscha taken by Greg Gorman, the photographer of l.a.Eyeworks’ signature black-and-white campaign since 1982. This will be a rare first showing of these yet-to-be-published works. Greg will be with us for the afternoon and Ed may pop in for a visit as well. ⁠

As the holiday of romance, hearts and arrows approaches (love it or not!), this creation from the l.a.Eyeworks FACE IT! collection by artist Linda Hesh entitled "Ménage à Trois" with sterling silver and brass components mounted on a MANAGER frame from 1991.⁠

Part of our multi-faceted history of creative collaborations, the FACE IT! collection began in the 1980s, engaging artists, jewelers, designers and other visionaries to transform l.a.Eyeworks' designs for eyewear as a way of exploring the foundations of optical design and expanding the conceptual frontier of vision. ⁠
