Day 25 of our 31 days of wall stretching commitment in January.
Today was all about legs up the wall to gently open the hip flexors and release the lower back.

This is simple and beginner friendly.
Modify it however your body needs.

Release your back.
Release your hips.
Take slow deep inhales and long exhales.
Hold for 30 seconds each round and do both sides.

Light a candle.
Put on smooth relaxing sounds.
Unwind, unplug, and give your nervous system a break.
Stretch, then get some rest.

Spend 19 seconds with me as I stretch.
No rush. No performance. Just breath, balance, and release.
Chair-assisted stretches like these help open the hips, lengthen the hamstrings, support balance, and ease tension in the lower back, especially after long days or tight seasons.
You don’t need a full workout to reset your body. Sometimes all it takes is a few intentional seconds to come back home to yourself.

Due to ongoing winter weather, power outages, and unsafe road conditions, all in-studio classes are canceled today. Many in our community are still without power or water and need time to reset and recover. Please do what’s best for you and your family.

Day 24 of 31 Days of Stretching.
The winter storm slowed us down but we are finishing what we started.

Today’s focus was the back shoulders and hips.
We opened the spine with seated reaches to create space and improve posture.
Gentle twists helped release tension stored in the upper and mid back.
A wide stance opened the hips and inner thighs to improve mobility and circulation.
We closed with a forward fold to decompress the spine and calm the nervous system.

Cold weather can leave the body feeling tight heavy and stiff.
Movement does not have to be intense to be effective.
Slow intentional stretching makes a difference.

Save this stretch and come back to it when your body needs relief.

Due to ongoing power outages, unstable Wi-Fi, and other storm-related aftereffects, Stretch and Vibe LLC will remain closed for another day.

The safety and well-being of our community is always the priority. Northeast Louisiana was hit hard, and many of us are still without reliable power, water, or safe road access.
