Breastfeeding doesn’t just make milk.. it keeps the hormone prolactin high, which rewires her brain to be more alert, sensitive, and tuned in to the baby.

At the same time, hormones like estrogen and progesterone stay low, which affects her mood, energy, sleep, and even intimacy.
So if she’s more tired, more emotional, or more focused on the baby than anything else.. it’s not “just in her head.”

It’s biology.
Breastfeeding keeps her body and mind in a postpartum state for as long as she nurses. She’s not back to “normal” yet. She’s doing life-sustaining, body-altering, and emotionally demanding work every single day.

As this month comes by, I will always have all the mamas who have lost their babies in my heart. I hug you, and I am with you. I haven't experienced this on my own, but I have had family and close friends, and their pain is mine. Now I found a study that says this ⤵️

The study says that you will carry the baby's fetal cells in your DNA for decades 💜🫶🏼🥹

Meaning THEY are still with you, STILL within YOU!
