Caroline Dietrich is one of several passionate local students who recently had an eye-opening job-shadowing experience at Ozarks Healthcare. With a family deeply rooted in healthcare, Caroline has always been inspired by the field. Her recent shadowing experience in the Ozarks Healthcare Pharmacy only fueled her passion further. 🏥💊

“I really liked to see how all the medicine is made, and the precautions staff show. Job shadowing has helped me see how all different personalities are accepted and make up a team in the field. I’m hoping to pursue pharmacy and just love the medical field and helping people,” she shared.

Missouri State University-WP Workforce Development and Community Education is offering a great learning opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing CNA training. Contact Sammi Radosevich at 417-505-0038 if you have any questions about applying.

🚨 Now enrolling for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training 🚨

This program prepares individuals to perform routine nursing-related services to patients in hospitals or long-term care facilities. Students will learn through a series of classroom lectures, labs and clinicals. 📌

The cost of the course is $1,300 and covers all of the costs associated with the class. Students should be able to pass a background check and a drug test.

This summer, we partnered with West Plains Schools to offer students an incredible job shadowing experience. These budding healthcare professionals are earning class credit while gaining hands-on experience from Ozarks Healthcare's dedicated team. 🍎🏥

This program allows students to explore career options and see how they can contribute to our local healthcare community. Brylie Orsborne shared her experience:

“I really enjoyed my time in Radiology – there are so many job options. One day, I was able to watch a surgery and see a C-arm X-ray machine in action – that was probably my favorite part. I liked learning about what I haven’t seen before in healthcare and figuring out what it is I want to do.”
