Interesting definitions of emotional bo***ge and emotional freedom (by Dr. Jackie Mack Harris, New Life Live)
Emotional bo***ge: stuckness in pain, often showing up as negativity – complaining and a lot of judging others, lack of grace for self and others in an effort to protect oneself.
Emotional freedom: looks like being who you are and being okay with that – being able to say, “I don’t like that,” or “I don’t want that,” and not having that fear of loss of relationship.

People fail to see that trauma is interpersonal. We need people so sometimes we put up with things that continue to re-traumatize us. Freedom means we don’t let people re-traumatize us. We can love ourselves and others and put boundaries and some safety in our healing.
