🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at The Ridge 🇺🇸
We had the privilege of celebrating Veterans Day with our residents, families, and staff—our true heroes. We began by presenting certificates and pins to honor their service, courage, and sacrifice. A heartfelt thank you to Greg Bryett from Assisted Home Health and his wonderful team for generously sponsoring the certificates, pins, and the on-the-spot photographs given to each hero. Your support made this moment even more meaningful. ❤️

We ended the celebration with a special treat—an incredible performance by The Satin Dollz !They looked stunning and filled the room with nostalgia, joy, and beautiful harmonies as they sang to our veterans and entertained us all. 🎶✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring those who have served. We are forever grateful. 🇺🇸❤️💙

🍃🎨 Pine Cone Canvas Art with Our Residents🎨🍃 This creative session was all about nature-inspired art — and wow, our residents did not disappoint! Using pine cones, moss, acrylic paint and a whole lot of imagination, they created stunning canvas pieces that came out absolutely beautiful. Each artwork was so unique, full of personality, texture, and charm. We love seeing everyone express themselves in their own special way. 💚Another wonderful day of creativity at The Ridge! 🌲🖼️

We had a great time sponsoring the 2025 Moorpark Senior Games this past Wednesday! 🏅 It was wonderful to see everyone out enjoying the day and participating in all the fun. Our team loved being part of it—and our raffle was a big hit too! 🎟️👏

🎃🚗 Trunk or Treat Fun! 🍭🍬

Our Ridge team joined Post Acute’s annual Trunk or Treat event and went all out with a Mario Party theme! 🍄⭐️ From costumes to car decorations, we had such a blast bringing a little Nintendo magic to the celebration. So much laughter, creativity, and of course—plenty of candy to go around!

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to Descanso Gardens last week! 🎃🍂 The gardens were beautifully decorated for their Carved season, with pumpkins everywhere you looked! We soaked up the fresh air, admired the festive displays, and definitely hit our step goals on this scenic walk through nature’s beauty. 🌿✨

What a spooktacular night at our very first Halloween Dance Party! 🎃🕺💃

Residents and staff had a blast dancing the night away with DJ Vic, carving pumpkins donated by Assisted Home Health , and snapping fun memories at our Photo Booth sponsored by 1Heart Caregiver Services - Thousand Oaks. We enjoyed delicious treats, spooky drinks, and plenty of laughter all around!

One of the biggest highlights? One of our very own residents went all out dressed as Paul Stanley from KISS — makeup and all, thanks to one of our talented Activity Assistants! 🤘 Everyone wanted a photo with her — total rockstar moment!

Our very first Halloween Pet Parade was a spook-tacular success! 🐾🎃 Residents and their families dressed up their furry friends for a fun and friendly competition filled with laughs, treats, and tail wags. Every pet received a special gift, and our top pup Opihi took home the trophy and a gift basket for being Leader of the Pack! 🏆🐶 Thank you to everyone who joined in on the Halloween fun—it was paws-itively adorable! 👻🧡

Our residents got creative making faux flower arrangements on styrofoam pumpkins—and they turned out absolutely beautiful! 🎃🌸 Each one was unique, full of color, and perfect as a fall centerpiece. What a lovely way to celebrate the season! 🍁✨

🎃 Pumpkin Patch Fun at Calvary Church! 🎃
We were so lucky to have such a wonderful outing right next door! Our residents enjoyed a beautiful visit to Calvary Church’s pumpkin patch — admiring all the festive pumpkins and even taking a few home for our community. 🍂

We’re so grateful for our generous neighbors at Calvary Church for inviting us and for supporting a great cause — raising funds to help kids in need. ❤️
