A question I’m often asked is: Who is Myofascial Release actually for?

This work is especially helpful for people who experience:

• Chronic pain that hasn’t responded to other approaches
• Pain that moves, shifts, or doesn’t follow a clear pattern
• Long-standing tension after injury or prolonged stress
• Jaw pain, neck pain, headaches, pelvic or low back pain
• A sense that “nothing is wrong,” yet pain persists

Myofascial Release works gently with the body’s connective tissue and nervous system, allowing patterns of restriction to unwind rather than be forced.

If this resonates, I’ll be sharing more about this work here as I continue serving the Hooksett community.

Grateful for thoughtful feedback like this.

This review is from my previous practice in Ohio, and I’m deeply appreciative of the trust clients placed in me there. The same care, presence, and approach continue here in Hooksett as I begin serving this community.

Thank you to those who take the time to share their experience 🤍

Since I’m new to the area, I’d love to introduce myself 🤍
I’m Julia.

I’m an advanced Myofascial Release therapist and the owner of Fractal Bodyworks. I originally worked as an occupational therapy practitioner, but after discovering the depth and effectiveness of Myofascial Release for chronic pain, stress, and unresolved injuries, I knew this work was what I was meant to do.

Fractal Bodyworks started five years ago in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, where I built a busy practice and witnessed firsthand how powerful this work can be. I’m incredibly grateful to continue that work here in New Hampshire and to begin serving this community.

Thank you for being here ✨

Sharing with a heavy heart that my teacher and mentor, John Barnes, has passed away.

John is the father of Myofascial Release. His teachings created a profound ripple effect—one that has changed not only my life, but the lives of countless practitioners and clients around the world who have found relief, freedom, and hope through this work.

I am incredibly grateful to have been taught directly from John.
Because of his work, I found my purpose.
Because of his work, I’ve watched people reclaim their bodies and their lives.
And because of his work, I continue to believe deeply in what’s possible when we listen to the body rather than fight it.

Rest in peace, John.
Your legacy lives on in every pair of hands that continues this work. 💫

Ever notice pain that doesn’t seem to have a clear cause?

Emotional stress can become stored in the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds and supports the body. Over time, these holding patterns may contribute to chronic pain, restriction, or discomfort.

Myofascial Release is a gentle, hands-on approach that works directly with this tissue, helping the body release what it’s been holding onto.

If your body feels heavy, tight, or overwhelmed — this work may help.

Well, the day has finally come.
I’m officially holding the key to my new office space here in Southern New Hampshire. It’s bigger than anything I’ve had before — complete with my very own waiting area so I’ve been pouring my heart into making it feel cozy, grounding, and true to the healing work I do.

My goal is to have the space fully ready for its official reveal and open house next month. Big moves come with a lot of nervousness, but also so much purpose. I’m committed to bringing this work to my new community because I’ve seen firsthand how profoundly it can improve people’s lives.

More updates soon. I can’t wait to welcome you in. 💫

Another Myofascial Release class in the books ✨
This Fascial Cranium course left me amazed. Even while working on the skull, I felt releases all the way down to my sacrum. The body is so interconnected — symptoms are just the surface.

Also… pretty sure my face is more symmetrical now 😂
Forever amazed by this work and grateful to keep learning. ❤️

This past weekend, I traveled to Portland, ME to take fascial pelvis Myofascial release class. This was probably my 3rd or 4th time taking it within the span of 6 years. I was hesitant on taking it because I felt like I know this class in and out - why would I need to invest more time and money for information I already know?

Boy was I wrong, I learned so many valuable techniques that I completely forgot about!
I also got to meet and connect with so many wonderful therapists including many in the New England area.
Taking this class really lit the fire for me and I’m so excited to get my practice open in southern New Hampshire! Stay tuned for updates!

Well, Ohio — it’s time for a new chapter as I begin again in New Hampshire. Since launching my business here in late 2020, I’ve had the honor of serving 586 clients. I’m deeply grateful to each of you who entrusted me with your care and supported my small business along the way.

A special thank you to Lori, the wonderful massage therapist I shared a building with. She’s not only incredibly skilled at what she does, but also a true gem of a person. I’ll miss her — and so many of you — more than words can say.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Here’s to new beginnings. 🌟
