Another day another doodle—this time a bit more fluid. But …I have been noticing how many of my pics continuously bring me to a “central” point on the page itself. And it actually quite Literally does that FOR me…brings me to my “center.”

Today I took the day off to just “be.” Been really feeling heavy with the weight of the world’s current events (no politics allowed here—I’m just talking human to human at Brahmaloka!!) and had to sit with the discomfort, the panic, the overwhelm…that I’ve been sensing not only in myself but in others.

So, if you feel similarly, and have a similar capacity to hold space for others and can somehow pick up on subtle energies, then I would advise you to also take a day to just “be” in silence and contemplation. If not a day, maybe an hour if possible.

What to do in that time? Though just being in silence is the best, if you cannot do that right away, then do these things to get your energy ready for silence:

1. Maybe doodle/draw/sketch
2. Maybe dance to shake up the sticky icky energy
3. Maybe hum and sing whatever comes to mind!
4. Maybe get outside and walk for a bit
5. Maybe just turn OFF the phone. Be free from technology for a hot minute. 😅
5. Maybe read for a bit
6. Maybe interact with your pets for a while- if no pets, tend to your plants
7. Maybe try some breathwork
8. And when body and mind have calmed, maybe, just maybe, you can sit in silence 🤫

Love to you all,
~Lauren

So it’s been one of these days (scroll through my reactions)…. Focus is nonexistent, confusion and calamity has made its way into everything, and I am just not having it. I don’t wanna. I just. Don’t. Wanna. Do. It.

Complete surrender… looks like a bit like this- there’s the resistance, the insanity, the confusion, the chaos, the anxiety, the panic, the fear, the “WTF!?!” aaaaaaannnddd then the sleep (bc I’m too tired at that point to fight anymore)

AND one thing to know about me is: I’m a fighter- there ain’t no way I’m going down easy— and that also means the stubbornness and the willpower and the determination are REAL. It’s a battle of the forces over here. Fighting for my life.

For what? To get organized. To do work. To “Beeeeee PRODUCTIVE damn it!”

And when the light bulb turns on, the “Aha!!” moment where I realize that I don’t have to push, I don’t have to force, I don’t have to make it so hard, I don’t have to (if I don’t want to)… things get WAYYYY EASIER!!!!!

All in a good day’s work.

May you be blessed! And may I go rest. Hahahaha I crack myself up.

I’m getting back to a few fun things I used to do as a child. And some things (like playing piano) of which I always wanted to do!

1. Doodle and draw - on black paper with white and sparkly gel pens (the holographic iridescent gel pens were my favorite! (In the image above, I used a white paint pen on black paper. Sometimes less is more!
2. Write poetry - let the words flow. Been doing this since childhood. I love the written word— and poetry is its finest form. It touches the heart and no interpreter is needed. Heart feels and knows all.
3. Pull tarot and oracle cards for myself- especially during the first weeks of a new year— I like to see what roadmap is in store for me and the business
4. Play piano and improv with rhythm patterns and different tonal patterns.. Play along with music I enjoy listening to (recently, I’ve been loving jazz piano!!) A lot of grief was spilled over the past few years, and my piano became my backbone. I now have a reliable outlet- when I’m sad, I play. When I’m joyful, I play. When I’m angry, I play. When I’m feeling devotional, I play. When I’m worried, I play. It’s my therapy.
5. Sticker collection. Yep, you read that right. I always loved stickers. Now, I have stickers that I use in my journaling to prompt me and to help me dive deep. I just LOVE STICKERS!

it’s how I experience life, through these creative outlets. I have turned off this part of me for far too long. My inner child demanded this of me this year!! And so it is… 😉😂

What creative outlets do YOU have and are you feeding/nourishing that part of yourself??

Happy New Year 2026!!!! May you be happy, may you be healthy , and may you prosper!!!

Another reel from me… oh my! And this time I’m just rambling on about vulnerability and discomfort and insecurities of mine… despite being a successful business owner, I am still working through my own insecurities, one of which is to be SEEN and HEARD.

Do you sometimes feel this way too? Let me know in the comments!

Let’s all be uncomfortably vulnerable together!! 😆

Introducing Myself — and Why Brahmaloka Healing Arts Exists:
I’m Lauren: a registered nurse of 17 years, a clinical herbalist, a Reiki Master, a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, an intuitive, and a tarot reader. My work spans both evidence-based care and deeply grounded energetic practice, and I offer tarot readings, herbal consultations and formularies, Reiki sessions, Healing Touch sessions, and integrated combinations for those who want a full-spectrum approach.

I founded Brahmaloka Healing Arts after years of watching people feel disconnected from their own power. In both clinical settings and everyday life, I saw how often individuals felt disempowered about their health, their intuition, and their ability to shift their own wellbeing.

My mission is simple: to empower people to heal—to help you remember that the ability to reconnect, restore, and transform is already within you. The work I do is designed to help you access that inner intelligence, whether through energy work, herbs, or intuitive guidance.

What an Energy Healing Session Feels Like at Brahmaloka Healing Arts:

Most clients describe energy work not as something mystical, but as something deeply felt in the body.

It often begins with a soft unwinding—your nervous system finally recognizing it can stop bracing. Shoulders drop. Breath deepens without effort. The mind quiets enough for you to hear yourself again.

As the session moves, people report sensations like gentle warmth, waves of release, subtle pulsing, tingling, or a feeling of being held from the inside out. Some feel emotions rise and dissolve. Others see colors, imagery, or memories float through and organize themselves in new, healthier ways.

Many simply feel a profound calm they haven’t touched in a long time.

By the end, there’s usually a clarity:
“I can breathe again.”
“I feel lighter.”
“My body finally relaxed.”
“I didn’t realize how much I was carrying.”

Energy healing is about creating the conditions for your system to remember its own balance, resilience, and truth.

If you’re ready to feel that shift for yourself, you can book a session at brahmaloka.com

Tarot is not about predicting the future. It’s a structured self-inquiry tool that helps clarify what is already unfolding within you. The cards work as mirrors, not fortune-telling devices. When used with intention, they illuminate patterns, emotions, desires, fears, and possibilities that may be hard to articulate on your own.

The tool itself isn’t the magic. The way you work with it is what creates transformation. At Brahmaloka Healing Arts, Tarot is used as a visual roadmap—an accessible way for clients to see their inner workings in real time. Clients often describe feeling validated, seen, and affirmed in what their intuition has been telling them all along. That is the power of a grounded, therapeutic approach: the cards give shape to what you already know in your heart.

Full Moon in Ta**us vibes — rooted, red-energy, business shift happening.
I’m wearing red for my roots (literally and energetically) to honour grounding + stability under this lunar energy. With the holiday season ahead, my schedule is tightening and I have fewer slots available in the next few weeks.
👉 If you’ve been feeling that pull to recalibrate your energy, protect your creativity, or clear space for what’s next — DM me or visit www.brahmaloka.com (https://www.brahmaloka.com/) / www.brahmalokahealingarts.com (https://www.brahmalokahealingarts.com/) to lock in your session before the calendar fills.
