What does access in the outdoors mean to you? 🌎
For some, it’s a trail they can navigate with confidence.
For others, it’s the right equipment, the right support, or the right directions from an experienced guide.
For most, it could be the difference between watching from the sidelines, and being part of the experience.
From sensory-friendly wayfinding to inclusive play areas, when we build access for some, we improve experiences for all.
⚓️ Accessible boat docks and boat launches support adaptive kayakers, AND makes boating safer for older adults, young children, and first time paddlers.
🥾 Wider, smoother trails provide inclusive hiking for wheelchair users AND improves mobility for families with strollers, beginner hikers, and athletes recovering from injury.
At Adaptive Adventures, we believe access isn’t an add-on - it’s what makes adventure possible. As we gear up for Outside Days 2026, we’re creating opportunities for people of all abilities to try something new, move in different ways, and experience the outdoors together.
Because inclusion doesn’t limit adventure. It expands it.
Your turn! What does access in the outdoors mean to you? 🤷🏻♂️
