Paws-itively a great day making a difference! 🐾💛
Today our residents rolled up their sleeves and made all-natural dog treats to donate to the Carroll County Humane Society. From mixing ingredients to shaping each treat with care, everyone had a wonderful time knowing their efforts will bring joy to some furry friends in need.
It’s always special when we can give back to our community and this one was filled with wagging tails and warm hearts! 🐶

We had an amazing time hitting the lanes and enjoying some friendly competition with our friends from Albert Rill and Evergreen! There’s nothing like a little bowling to bring everyone together and spark some laughter.
After working up an appetite, we sat down for a delicious lunch filled with great food and even better company. Days like these remind us how special it is to connect, stay active, and make lasting memories with friends! 💛

Our residents truly outdid themselves planning a beautiful vow renewal and anniversary celebration for our favorite Activity Director here at Nelson 1! 💍✨
Robin and her husband are celebrating 32 wonderful years of marriage pure bliss! ❤️ Our residents took the lead in every detail, from creating centerpieces and choosing the music to even walking Robin down the aisle. It was such a heartfelt and joyful experience for everyone involved.
The love, effort, and creativity that went into this special day made it unforgettable. Robin and her husband were incredibly grateful for the thoughtful ceremony and celebration their residents hosted. Moments like these remind us just how special our community truly is! 💐

She has a knack for making everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome and at home. Cara is punctual, reliable, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Our Cheese Fondue Social was a melty masterpiece of fun and flavor! 🧀✨
Residents gathered together to dip, and socialize while enjoying a variety of delicious goodies paired perfectly with warm, creamy cheese fondue. From bread and veggies to sweet treats, there was something for everyone to enjoy!
Laughter filled the room as we shared stories, tried new combinations, and simply enjoyed each other’s company. It was the perfect way to bring everyone together for a cozy and interactive experience!

We had the most beautiful day visiting the farm museum, soaking in all the signs of spring! 🌸 The trees were bursting with vibrant pinks and soft white blooms, creating the perfect backdrop. The scenery felt like something out of a painting, with rolling fields and the pond, where the water shimmered in the sunlight and added such a calm, relaxing touch to the day. There’s nothing better than enjoying nature’s beauty with great company!
To top it all off, we treated ourselves to some sweet custard from the cow 🍦the perfect way to end a lovely outing. Smiles, sunshine, and springtime blooms made it a day to remember!

We had such a great time out at J & P for lunch today! Everyone enjoyed picking something different, making it a fun and delicious experience all around. 😋💧

Today was full of creativity and connection! We had some special helpers join us to make hanging snacks for our feathered friends alongside our residents. 🐦 It was such a joy crafting together and knowing we’re helping take care of the birds right outside our windows.
We wrapped up the morning with puzzle stations, keeping our minds active and working together to complete each one. 🧩💙💧
A wonderful blend of creativity, teamwork, and meaningful moments shared across generations!
