Rough Patch Salsa Delivery Schedule for 2022!!!
We have some salsa left and the kids and I are determined to raise all the money we can to help the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center help the kids by the end of the year!!! Please let me know if you would like some. 100% of the money goes to help kids!!!

November - New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio
December - Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, Wyoming

Other locations that are possible:
Florida, Georgia, North Carolina

We have more and more kids that want to help the other kids. It is fun seeing the kids having so much fun helping kids they don’t even know!!!

HELP KIDS THROUGH A ROUGH PATCH
- I don’t know about you, but I BELIEVE I need to do everything I can to help the kids.
- I sit here and wonder; what happened to that 18 year old kid when he was younger that drove him to kill those little kids? IF he had access to the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center – would he have gotten the help he needed and gone down a different path. How much therapy and support are those kids going to need that witnessed or lost someone that terrible day?
- What is going to happen if those surviving kids DON’T get the help they are going to need?

When you think of the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center, think of St. Jude’s Hospital.
- The WKCAC gets & gives the kids to the mental healthcare they need and the family NEVER sees a bill.
- HEALING the TRAUMA and ABUSE of children is the BEST way to do what we CAN to STOP the cycle.
- I believe the people that killed the people in these mass shootings needed HELP long before they walked into these locations and killed.

AT RISK
- Things we don’t like to think about or talk about…
- Identifying young people that are at RISK of becoming the 18 year old who walks into a school and kills.
- WKCAC has trained professionals in schools LOOKING for those signs & symptoms. They call them “mentors” because that is a safe term for the kids to think of those adults as being.
- Recognizing those kids and getting them the ANGER MANAGEMENT HELP they need. Working with them to STOP the cycle of abuse! Getting the help they need before they are the 18 yr old with a riffle is what we can attempt to do!

RESOURCES
- WKCAC is NOT a State or Federal Government Agency. It is a PRIVATE Non-Profit that is working every day to STOP they cycle AND help the kids or are:
o VICTIMS of TRAUMA (like a school shooting)
o VICTIMS of TRAUMA (like sexual abuse)
o VICTUMS of TRAUMA (like physical & emotional abuse)
- MORE Trained Professionals are needed!!! Trained professionals are NOT volunteers.
- StriveComm – Striving for a Beautiful Community is what I’m doing. I’m giving my time and my money to help where I can. I am a volunteer

Rough Patch Salsa – StriveComm (aka Julie) is paying for ALL the ingredient & making the salsa (with the help of volunteers & jar donations). I have the support of lots of friends and WHITES GROCERY STORE – that provide me with a great discount and support. 100% of each $10 pint goes to get kids and their NON OFFENDING family members the therapy and help they need.

SO… if you are like me and have an overwhelming desire to help – here is what you can do:
- Make a tax deductible donation to WKCAC and I will give you a jar of Rough Patch Salsa for every $10 you give.
- Make a (non tax deductible) donation to StriveComm and help me pay for the ingredients to I can make even MORE Rough Patch Salsa.
- June 24th, 25th & 26th – I will be in Scott City Kansas making salsa!!! If you are in the area and want to help please let me know. People of ALL AGES and skills can help. Everything from making salsa to getting it in the jars, canning and getting the labels on. Little Kids and Seniors and everyone in between have helped me in the past yearl

GOAL
- Last year I raised $21,000. This year my goal was to raise $25,000. Yesterday WHITE’S FOODLINE, who is helping me all the ingredients said “we want to help you get that to $30,000)

Because I want EVERY kid to have the same kind of childhood I had! The worst thing that ever happened to me was running out of arts and crafts supplies and having to wait until the next day to finish my finger puppet project.

Thanks to EVERYONE who helped yesterday we made of 1,500 pints of salsa for the 2021 Whimmydiddle and raised $3,000 for the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center!!!
