Peace4Paws Benefit Luncheon 11.16.25 raised funds and awareness for companion dogs in need. We honored the Peace4Paws volunteers as well as Emerson Animal Hospital
and . The special song My Heart Goes On was performed by 15 year old Charlotte Kwon to honor volunteer Kyle McSweeney and family It was lovely. We felt we made Kyle smile down on us from above. 💜And the audience did too. They appreciated all the music, the magician, the food, the tricky tray prizes, the big fat 50/50 and the incredible dessert too. Lots and lots of volunteers [singers and non singers and Mayor Mike Stabler] played a role in a making this La Fortuna Benefit Luncheon in Fairview, NJ special for people and dogs alike!

My voice students volunteered their talent for the Magic of Rescue Benefit Luncheon on 11.16.25 which honored all of our Peace4Paws volunteers especially Kyle McSweeney. We all wore for him! The 5050 and tricky tray were a big success. The food from La Fortuna and dessert [all donated] were delicious. Magician fabulous. The students singer volunteers [ included 3 adult singers, 2 teenagers, and 1 child ] sang so well! I was so proud of them! Mike Stabler did a very good job at assistant MC [well when he didn't go too far off script. Which he did do a few times!]. Speakers like Myrene Carrero were super positive, informative and uplifting. Collectively everyone there and all those who donated [big shout out to Immerse Yoga of Closter, NJ for the yoga classsa and Melissa Urban of Whole30 for the Book of Boundaries] helped check out our website www.peace4paws.org to see all the sweet adoptable dogs! Even a short term foster is a great contribution to the cause!

Congrats Hailey for contributing so much to make The Laramie Project such a very well done show at River Dell! Talented, hard working, respectful and devoted thanks! We the audience loved the show. Wonderful direction, crew, cast! And it's a lovely theater! I will be back for the next show to support all of you people county and the shows next year too. [But will miss these amazing seniors.]

Everyone did a great job opening night. I would go back and get better video clips if I wasnt heading to VA for a l
Dog rescue transport. So so many great monologues! .hart48 had quite a few and really nailed them ALL! Adrienne Mariano and I loved him. We are highlighting him here but we have some more photos coming later. The whole cast showed an amazing amount of maturity and understanding of their [many] characters living in in 1998 long before they were born. Kudos to the director for intense guidance and direction. So so many great monologues and performances. Thank you and for making me so proud. You both are very impressive and important to the mission of The Laramie Project . And I have another post coming!

It was a pleasure to recreate the role of Micaela on 11.11.25 a lucky night for everyone at the . I had the option of being on book but I knew I could be more emotionally connected if I didnt use the book and my memory prevailed [despite not having the more typical amount of time to prepare and practice]. I am glad I was bold. Sometimes you have to trust that you have a grasp of the big picture and then just share that concept with the audience. Collectively too The Palisades Opera focused, enjoyed the acoustics at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts and had fun.
