🌟 Do You Need the Measles Vaccine? 🌟

Measles might seem like a thing of the past, but it’s still a serious risk! 🦠 Here’s what you NEED to know:

🔍 Who needs the vaccine?

Children: The MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) is recommended for all kids at 1 year and again at 4 years old.

Adults: If you haven't had the vaccine or measles before, it’s not too late! Especially if you plan to travel abroad or are in close contact with others

Pregnant women: If you're planning to get pregnant, make sure you're up to date on your vaccines, including MMR (but wait until after pregnancy).

💉 Why is it important?

Measles is highly contagious and can cause serious complications.

The MMR vaccine is a safe and effective way to protect yourself and those around you, especially the most vulnerable (like infants and the elderly).

SARAH IS BACK!!! You may remember her when she worked with me as a medical assistant when she was an undergraduate student at Pitt. Now she is doing her last medical school rotation with me before she starts her residency in Emergency Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. Come and say goodbye. Book an appointment in April.
