With a 99/100 pediatric readiness score—among the highest in the state—this designation reflects our commitment to specialized training, pediatric-focused protocols, and continuous improvement to keep kids safe when it matters most.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and experts at Intermountain Health want patients to know that cervical cancer is almost entirely preventable with regular screening.

“This is a game-changer for people who feel uncomfortable with a pelvic exam or have trouble getting to a clinic,” said Katie Rustici, MD, regional service line medical director for Women’s Health with Intermountain Health.

With new options like self-collected HPV testing coming in early 2026, prevention is becoming more accessible — while routine gynecologic care remains an important part of protecting your long-term health.

Lutheran Hospital was proud to host our annual EMS Symposium, bringing together EMS professionals from across our community for a full day of education, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

From cardiac, stroke, and trauma-focused didactic sessions to in-person skills stations like 12-lead EKG interpretation, neuro assessments, and critical airway scenarios, participants had the opportunity to earn continuing education hours while strengthening real-world skills that make a difference in the field.
