Thanks to the generosity of our local greenhouse partners, Lutheran Hospital received 350 donated poinsettias to help brighten the days of our patients and caregivers. These festive blooms are a simple reminder of the care, kindness, and community that surround us—especially during the holidays.

Intermountain Health was proud to sponsor one of the Parade of Lights floats and be part of this beloved Denver tradition. From dazzling lights and music to smiling faces lining the streets, the parade brought our community together to celebrate the season in the most joyful way.

Lutheran Hospital is proud to be the main sponsor of all things holidays in Golden this year and we can’t wait to celebrate with our community at the Golden Holiday Parade! 🎄🎅

Our caregivers have been hard at work decorating gingerbread people, trees, candy, and more to represent their departments. All their creations will be featured on our Gingerbread Hospital Float, complete with its own helipad! 🚁

Bring your family, bundle up, and come cheer us on as the parade kicks off this Saturday in downtown Golden. This is one of the season’s biggest events, and we’d love to see you there!

The parade route runs down Washington Avenue from 10th Street to 13th Street, starting at 10:30 a.m.

What a night at the 9NEWS Parade of Lights! ✨

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate one of Denver’s most magical holiday traditions. From the glowing floats and giant balloons to the marching bands and cultural performances, downtown absolutely sparkled with community spirit.

A special highlight for us was seeing our Intermountain Health caregivers walk alongside Santa’s float as Santa’s Healthers, making sure he was parade-ready for his big night. 🎅💙 Their joy and energy lit up the route and reminded us what it means to show up for our community in every season.

We were also thrilled to join the Downtown Denver Partnership and cheer on Denver Summit FC as this year’s Grand Marshal!

In recognition of National Injury Prevention Day, Lutheran Hospital hosted a firearm safety outreach event to help keep our community safe. 💚

Caregivers handed out free gun locks and shared important information about safe firearm storage, an essential step in preventing injuries and protecting families.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about responsible storage practices and how we can work together to reduce preventable harm in our community.
