Yesterday was World Cancer Day.
A reminder of why this work matters so deeply to me đź’›
Cancer is not only a physical diagnosis, it is a human experience that touches the emotional and spiritual layers of life as well. The disease itself, along with treatments, can deeply affect quality of life: pain, fatigue, reduced mobility, loss of vitality, and a sense of disconnection from one’s body and community. Support truly matters.
I meet cancer patients and survivors almost every day.
In Tai Chi and Qigong classes I teach at several cancer support centers.
In quiet, one-on-one moments during energy healing and acupressure sessions at another cancer resources center.
Through gentle movement, breath, and touch, I aim to help calm the nervous system, restore energy, and support people in reconnecting with their bodies. Sometimes healing begins with simply finding a moment of peace.
Holding space for this community is an honor I do not take lightly.
In memory of my father, who passed away from lymphoma, I offer all my cancer patients significant discounts on my classes and energy healing sessions. This work is my way of giving back - with love đź’•
