After being diagnosed with biliary atresia in March 2016, Stanley underwent the Kasai procedure at 9 weeks old and then had a liver transplant at 6 months old in July 2016. During his first stint in the hospital, we also discovered he had bilateral cataracts, which required two more surgeries, and now he wears eyeglasses until the intraocular lenses can be placed when he's older.

Tina and Alecia surprised Stanley with the news that his Make A Wish trip to San Diego has been set for August! The six-day adventure will include visits to the San Diego Air & Space Museum, the San Diego Zoo, and the Birch Aquarium. Stanley loved all the gifts he received too, especially the mini Southwest Airlines plane and the balloons!
