Every month, Best Care employees choose a Shining Star ✨. We'd like to introduce our October 2025 Shining Star ⭐ Taelyn Stiltner. Taelyn has been at Best Care since February and has shown compassion to all of the residents. Everything from doing their hair and nails to just being that hand to hold she's there! Taelyn has been a STNA for a little over 2 years. Thank you for all you do Taelyn we appreciate you!

This month is National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month, and we want to take a moment to acknowledge the professional caregivers and family members at home who support individuals with Alzheimer's.

🧠Alzheimer's is a progressive brain disorder, not a normal part of aging.

🧠More than 6.9 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's.

🧠More than 11 million American caregivers provide over 18.4 billion hours of unpaid care.

We know it can be a tough decision for a caregiver to consider asking for help with a loved one with Alzheimer’s. Sometimes, skilled nursing and memory care support are the safest choice for both you and your loved one.

We'd like to announce a new initiative that begins at Best Care beginning November 7, 2025! We are calling it "Employees helping Employees" We recognize the time, care, and energy all our employees put into the facility and our residents. Sometimes its nice to go home and not have to worry about what's for dinner. The employees are taking care of that for their fellow co-workers! Every Friday employees will be making meals that their co-workers can take home to their entire family. Wow! Its up to us to make the kindness in the world.

The committee has put out next weeks menu as Chicken and Noodles, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Brownies.

The committee is also working on creating a Blessing Box for all employees who are in need .

Beyond AMAZING night at Best Care! Wheelersburg, Ohio community members really showed out for our Trick or Treat at the facility. The smiles and laughter ringing through the hallways truly was amazing! The residents truly enjoyed seeing everyone. Thank you to all the staff that assisted. Big thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the evening with us. And.....we even had a sneak surprise visit from Santa, I'm guessing he was checking up on some people 😂
