The White Plains Cares Coalition is a federally funded Drug Free Communities Support initiative based at the City of White Plains Youth Bureau. The coalition is made up of volunteer members representing various sectors of the community: youth, parents, schools, law enforcement, faith based organizations., treatment, prevention, local govt., business, media, health, youth serving organizations, and civic/ volunteer groups. The volunteers meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month to assess community risk & protective factors that impact youth in White Plains and develop appropriate environmental strategies to address those factors.
