If you can believe it, this is only half a syringe of filler! Different fillers have different G-primes, meaning the elasticity & viscosity differ. This makes some filler products more suitable for certain areas of the face. For example, lower G-prime fillers are softer, making them a good option for lips (as shown above).

What to Expect: Microneedling Edition ✨

Microneedling can seem intimidating, but it’s a quick and easy treatment, especially when you know what to expect!

We start by cleansing the skin, then applying numbing cream for approximately 20 minutes. Then, we wipe off the cream and begin microneedling each section of the face. The device sounds like a small motor, similar to a tattoo needle. The whole process from numbing to microneedling takes about 45 minutes.

Immediately after, you’ll have pink/reddened skin, which is exactly what we want to see! This is your body’s natural response to heal and build new collagen & elastin. The redness lasts 3-5 days before resulting in a glowy, fresh face!

The time to work on your skin is now! There’s a lot of talk out there about what age is best to start getting injectables, like Botox and filler, but the reality is that it’s individualized. You may not need Botox right now, but microneedling might be great to start for collagen building. Botox Myths That Upset Injectors ‼️
Here’s the top 3 myths I hear from clients:
•
1) Botox will freeze your face —
While Botox works by paralyzing muscles to prevent movement, it doesn’t necessarily have to freeze your face. Strategic placement and dosage will still allow you to have facial expressions!
2) Botox will make you look fake —
Most actually don’t notice a difference! Those that look “fake” often had a lot done in a short period of time, or weren’t good candidates for the procedure they underwent.
3) Botox will give you a puffy face —
When I hear this it’s usually because people mistake Botox for filler. While they both work very differently, filler that is injected properly will not result in a “puffy” face.
