In honor of Veterans Day, we featured different patients each day this week who have served & sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸
The last individual we’re honoring is Chris Gunter ❤️ Read more about his amazing story…
Chris joined the Air Force in November of 1991, leaving his home in Spartanburg, SC. After completing Basic Training at Lackland AFB in SanAntonio, TX and job training at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX, he was stationed at Andrew’s AFB in Washington DC as a Cardiopulmonary Technician. He also served at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio, Langley AFB in Virginia. He served as a recruiter for 3 years in TN and was then accepted into Special Operations as a Special Operations Medic and served at Hurlburt Field in Florida. He deployed to the Philippines once and Afghanistan twice and went on multiple Temporary Duty assignments. Master Sergeant Gunter retired from Active Duty service in Feb, 2014
