The Air Force Ball is coming up on October 3rd, 2026 and I’m excited to announce that Little Steps with Adelaide LLC will be open for care that evening! 💙✈️

We’ll have a fun-filled night of:
💃 Dancing & music
🎨 Arts & crafts
👐 Hands-on sensory play
🍽️ Dinner & after-dinner snack (USDA Food Program approved!)

Meet Ms. Sam! She brings her expertise from Wright Pat AFB and we are so happy to have her at McConnell!

Hi Everyone! I’m Ms. Sam, the heart behind Ms. Sam’s Sunshine Spot. I’ve been working in child care for over 10 years, and I truly believe I’ve found my calling in family child care. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University and am currently pursuing my master’s in Early Childhood Education to deepen my knowledge and continue growing in this field I love.
My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where children can learn and grow through play—and where parents can feel at ease knowing their little ones are safe, loved, and supported while they’re off focusing on work or other responsibilities. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching children build confidence, make discoveries, and form friendships in a place that feels like home.

When I’m not busy running my Sunshine Spot, you can find me spending time with my wonderful husband, our two amazing daughters, and our lovable dog, Dunkin. I’m a big fan of organizing, reading, and a good Target run! My favorite color is lilac, and I live for the cozy vibes of fall.
