A mindful challenge for your Friday. Who’s in?!

✋🏽Press pause

👀 Notice anything you appreciate in this moment
🧘🏽‍♀️ Sit with that feeling for a few moments
💫 Proceed. Try to take mindful pauses often if possible.

This week I plan to slow down and appreciate the little things I am grateful for each day. Even things I often overlook, like waking up in good health this morning.

Do you have any intentions you’d like to focus on this week? Feel free to share.

A mindful challenge for this beautiful Sunday morning. Who’s joining me?! 🙋🏽

You may be surprised how many nice things you notice when being more aware of the chances for them to occur. ☀️

When we try to run from anxiety, it tends to become faster and stronger. Challenge yourself to be more mindful of how you react when noticing those anxious feelings.

Acknowledge them, greet them, even lean into them. Embrace uncertainty and take some chances. You might just learn you are capable of more than you think. 😏

🌿 It can be difficult to experience uncomfortable thoughts or emotions. Naturally we have a tendency to avoid, suppress, or push away things that are uncomfortable. This might help in the moment, but not in the long run.

🧘🏽‍♀️ I’ll be practicing mindful awareness of thoughts and emotions as they come this week. Allowing them to come and go, without attempting to push them away. Even embracing some of the uncomfortable feelings, and coping with them appropriately.

🌿 Do you have any intentions you’d like to focus on this week? Feel free to share.

What can you “let go” of today? Can you create any more space for self-care? 🌅

Anxiety thrives on control. The more we try to control things, including our thoughts, the more power we give to anxiety.

Take some of the power and control back from anxiety by letting go. Try to accept and allow thoughts, emotions and experiences as they come without trying to change or alter them. Experience life more mindfully. 🧘‍♀️

🍃Worrying about things that are outside of our control only makes anxiety seem larger in the long run. Instead, try to focus on what you can control, and learn to cope with or accept the things you can’t control.

🍃 What has anxiety held you back from?

🍃 Anxiety can make us doubt so much. When we avoid taking chances or trying something new, we only reinforce the fear and doubt. When we take steps towards these experiences, we become more comfortable and take back some of the power from anxiety. 💪🏼
