STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Hannah Landenberger, PA-C

Who I Am -- I am a lifelong learner who is passionate about the health and wellness of my community. I love helping people towards their goals and problem-solving through barriers. I am originally from the East Coast, but I am proud to call Wichita my home. I am an avid runner and love being outside and spending time with my husband and family as much as I can.

Healthcare Specialty -- Family Medicine

Experience -- I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Colorado Christian University and my master’s degree as a Physician Assistant from Wichita State University. I started working at Hunter Health shortly after graduating, and I can’t wait to continue building relationships in this community!

Why Hunter Health? -- I chose Hunter Health because I wanted to join the mission of providing excellent healthcare to everyone in the community and simply because of the people that work here. Everyone is dedicated to providing the best care and helping each other in any way they can. Being in a workplace that functions as a team was important to me as I started my practice. Hunter Health has been a great place to continue learning medicine and directly help the community around me.

We’re in the midst of November, which is Native American Heritage Month—a time to honor the cultures, traditions, and histories of Native American people. For us, this month holds added meaning and lets us remember our roots. Pictured below are Jay and Vera Hunter, who were important figures in the community and the people our clinic is named after.

We also want to honor Dr. Vernon Dyer, who founded Hunter Health at the Mid-America All-Indian Museum and helped grow it into what it is today. Their impact and dedication continue to shape the work we do.

Today is World Kindness Day — a reminder that kindness isn’t just good for others, it’s good for our mental health, too. Simple acts of kindness can ease stress, lift our mood, and create a sense of belonging that supports emotional wellbeing. Whether it’s a smile, a helping hand, or a kind word, compassion has the power to heal. At Hunter Health, we believe kindness is an essential part of caring for both mind and body.

November is Native American Heritage Month — a time to honor the enduring strength, beauty, and wisdom of Native cultures, traditions, and histories. For us, this month carries deep meaning. Hunter Health’s story is rooted in the Native community, and our mission continues to be guided by the values and resilience that have sustained Native peoples for generations.
