Hello Community!!
We are so excited to be a stop for folks' herbal needs! We have gotten pretty busy and love it ❤ thank you to our community for being so amazing!!
With this busyness we will need to make space to accommodate! With a great deal of joy and trust we are handing the reigns over of ICT Big Gay Market to Gina with Photographybymoorememories who has been at every event and very involved. We will be transferring it over this year. Our involvement will be minimal while Gina gets to know everything.
Things will run differently with different folks so have patience while Gina gets to know the website, flow, communications and all else that comes with event organizing.
This year will be epic we are switching the event to a new category as an entity and offering a $2,000.00 trade school grant to an individual every year starting this year. There is talk about starting a couple events every year, and so much more. Also, this is the 5th year for a lot of our vendors as a business. They say that after 5 years you have gotten in your groove and will make it (of course this is not set in stone but just a general guideline). We will be celebrating this with our community this year!!
We still remember our first event outside the apothecary, James cried alligator tears of joy seeing so much of the community show up. There was no way to know how many folks would be there, and it was EPIC!! He had so much help in his past and this event was the 'Putting it Forward' to give back what was given to him. We love our entrepreneurs here, and seeing their growth is something to look forward to every year!
Being the founders, Leaf & Stone Apothecary will still have a small role moving forward by being on the board for this event. So, we will still be there every year! It's a mix bag of emotions. On one side we understand that this is what needs to be done. On the other side it's like letting go of our child and comes with some heavy emotions.
All of that being said please give Gina just as much patience and understanding as you have us throughout these years. Thing will be handled differently, most likely more organized because James was very chaotic logistically LOL😄but still different.
Thank you all for a wonderful 4 years, we are excited to share this growth with our community and see what the future has to offer!
