Four Branches Therapy & Wellness, LLC is an office for independent, private practice therapists, where their goals are to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While difficult situations of the past can't be changed, we can work together with you to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary, therapeutic approaches and techniques, your FBTW therapist will unearth long-standing, behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, please contact one of the independent therapists, at Four Branches Therapy & Wellness, LLC.

Being a stepmom comes with a lot of love… and a lot of expectations. Here’s a reminder: it’s okay for stepmoms to set boundaries with their stepchildren.

Boundaries aren’t rejection — they’re healthy. They create structure, respect, and emotional safety for everyone in the home. You don’t have to overextend yourself, tolerate disrespect, or ignore your own needs to prove you care.

Healthy families are built on clear roles, open communication, and mutual respect. When stepmoms honor their limits, they model self-respect, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships.

You can be loving and firm. Supportive and consistent. Caring and boundaried.

Taking care of yourself helps you show up as your best self for the family.

Stepmoms, your needs matter too. 🤍

If you need support with developing confidence & identifying those boundaries, the therapists at FBTW are here to help. 316-613-3995

Termination or Closing Sessions are a critical & valuable part of ending the therapeutic relationship. They help solidify the boundaries & respect for the relationship as well as acknowledge & celebrate the healing & growth during the work together. We hope you choose to have a closing session when you're ready to leave therapy.
