Volunteer Opportunity at Ember Rising Pregnancy Support Center

Role Overview:

• Commitment: One time a week for 3-4 hour shifts

• Focus: Provide support and assistance to individuals facing pregnancy-related challenges

Ideal Volunteer Profile:

• Empathetic: Ability to meet people where they are without judgment

• Open-hearted: Willingness to embrace and support individuals from diverse lifestyles and backgrounds

• Healthcare Professionals Needed: RNs and RDMS for performing sonograms and providing medical support to women who are uncertain about their pregnancy choices

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients in a supportive and understanding manner

• Provide resources and information related to pregnancy support

• Conduct sonograms and offer medical insights to assist women in making informed choices

• Assist in creating a welcoming environment for all individuals

• Participate in training sessions to better understand the needs of clients

Skills and Qualities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to listen actively and respond with empathy

• Flexibility and adaptability to different situations

• Passion for supporting individuals in their pregnancy journey
