👩‍⚕️ Role at Batson PT: Physical Therapist Assistant
🎓 Education & Training: Jessalyn earned her degree as a PTA at PRCC in 2025
🏃 Favorite way to stay active: Taking walks with her husband and golden retriever! 🦮
💡 Fun fact: Jessalyn loves doing anything creative, whether that’s crocheting, sewing, painting, or playing an instrument like piano or drums.
💬 Why she loves PT: “After coming to Batson years ago for my own PT, I witnessed a fun and uplifting environment full of therapists that loved their job and cared for their patients above all else. I enjoyed watching patients improve and realized I also wanted to be someone who had a positive impact in a patient’s rehabilitation journey. Little did I know after getting accepted into the program and working hard throughout school that the Lord would lead me to work right where my love for PT began!”

🏃 Favorite way to stay active: Shelby loves spending time with family, taking her boys to baseball, and exercising.
💡 Fun fact: Shelby decided to pursue a career as a PTA after being a Stay at Home Mom for 7 years. “I feel blessed to be a part of this team and serve people within my own community.”
💬 Why she loves PT: “Going to physical therapy as a child and an adult I always thought it was only to exercise and improve physical mobility. After working as a PTA I have come to realize it is more than that — it is also about establishing and building relationships with people.”
