Are you passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to recovery? Our rapidly expanding recovery facility is seeking dedicated and compassionate Peer Recovery Specialists to join our team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. If you have lived experience in recovery and a heart for helping others, we want to hear from you!

⭐ Position: Peer Recovery Specialist

Shifts Available:

2nd Shift (4PM-12AM)

3rd Shift (12AM-8AM)

🧡 What You’ll Do:

Provide peer-to-peer support, encouragement, and advocacy to individuals in recovery

Assist clients in developing recovery plans and coping strategies

Model successful recovery behaviors through empowerment and mutual respect

Document daily interactions and progress notes in accordance with program standards

Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure a safe, supportive environment

Participate in team meetings, training, and quality-improvement initiatives

✔️ Qualifications:

Must identify as being in long-term recovery (1 year or more) from substance use and/or mental health challenges

Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and uphold ethical standards

Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others

Reliability—especially for evening and overnight schedules

Must pass background check and required screenings

Our expanding recovery center is seeking a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) who is passionate about providing high-quality care and empowering individuals on their recovery journey. ⭐ Position: Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)

🧰 Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and program requirements

Collaborate with peer specialists, case managers, and clinical team members

Support crisis intervention and relapse-prevention planning

Participate in treatment team meetings, staff development, and quality-improvement initiatives

Promote a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented environment

✔️ Qualifications:

Active CSAC certification in Virginia (required)

Experience working in substance use treatment or behavioral health settings preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Ability to foster trust, empathy, and respect with clients

Knowledge of trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented best practices

Must pass background checks and required screenings

Last week our team was able to participate in so many exciting events to support the recovery community including SAARA's Voices for Recovery Luncheon, Faith Recovery's Gathering for Good Luau and our own Inaugural Summer Slam Pickleball Tournament. We are thankful for all that supported our tournament from the many teams that played, to the spectators and sponsors to benefit Triangle Stepping Stones. A special thanks to Henry Strautman, Alumni Relations Manager, for all of his hard work to make this an amazing event.
