Zac's on Tap! End of an Era!

Steve Hicks and Dave Parker's "The Office Bar and Grill" property at 1748 El Camino Real in San Carlos and the adjacent office property was sold to the Nazerian family of Millbrae.

I was told by the seller agent that it will be "Mediterranean", but there's a sign permit on file with the city under the name, "Zac’s Bar & Grill".

The Office has been a great place to walk a couple blocks from my house for some live music, surprisingly good food and a wide selection of beers.

I hope that the Nazerian family brings back the Sunday Live Music Jam to South San Carlos!

I also sold the office building across the alley from "The Office" at 1761 Laurel St for $1,720,000. $7,900,000 in commercial properties sold this month!

FLEAS BE WITH YOU? I HOPE NOT!

San Carlos has rats, mice, racoons and squirrels (vermin). They all carry fleas and ticks.

Fleas and ticks can cause serious diseases for both you and your dogs and cats!

Let's please work together to reduce vermin to reduce fleas and ticks for our pets.

#1 Please stop putting out peanuts, bird seed, cat food and other food to feed the animals in your backyard, because vermin end up eating it too.
#2 Please pick up your dog p**p in your yard asap, because vermin end up eating it.
#3 Please hire exterminators to reduce the vermin population, or DIY with snap traps.
#4 Please give your dogs and cats a regular anti tick and flea as well as anti work pill.
#5 Please regularly check your pet and their bedding, including inside your coach cushions for fleas and ticks and vacuum, wash and treat accordingly.

What Diseases Can Fleas Transmit?
Fleas can transmit several diseases to humans and pets, including:
Plague: Spread by infected ground squirrel fleas or Oriental rat fleas, often found in rural areas of the western United States.

Murine Typhus: Spread by infected cat fleas, Oriental rat fleas, or their f***s, most cases reported from California, Texas, and Hawaii.

Cat Scratch Disease (CSD): Spread through the scratch of a domestic or feral cat infested with Ctenocephalides felis fleas.

Fleaborne Parasites: Such as tapeworms, which can spread to people and animals if they accidentally swallow an infected flea.

Fleas prefer animal hosts but will bite people when animals are unavailable. They transmit germs primarily through feeding on hosts or through f***l contamination. Fleas are considered parasites because they live on the bodies of their hosts, which can be both humans and animals, and feed on their blood.

RESTAURANT NEWS on Laurel! Please chime in! This week, I'm writing two new leases, one for a successful cafe at 633 Laurel in 3,000 sf, and another for a Michelin listed restaurant for 637 Laurel in 2,000 sf (not notable, nor starred yet, just listed).
