March 6 marked National Hospitalist Day, a time to recognize the physicians who care for patients throughout their hospital stay. To highlight their important role, the next HealthChat with Tom will feature Dr. Dan Manzanillo, Medical Director of Hospital Medicine at Clinton Regional Hospital.

Dr. Manzanillo will discuss what hospitalists do each day, how they care for acutely ill patients, and how they work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
