Hi Friends! I’m hoping this awkward family photo gets your attention.

I am currently putting my social media on pause. Instead of posting on two accounts, one for wellness and one for my real life, I’ve decided this is against everything I believe in. Health and wellness should be something that fits in to your life, or else it’s probably not right for you.

This being said, follow me at to see how my real life, health and wellness all work together in reality. 😊💛🐝

Most days this is my reality. I’m over here drinking a smoothie full of things I’m hoping will heal my gut and set me up for a good day of no stomach pain, while Tyler eats a delicious French toast breakfast.

I used to put others first, and just eat what was easy or what they were making, but I’ve learned that I need to do what’s right for me. No matter how hard it is sometimes, or how good that French toast smells. I know that if I were to eat that today, I’d be suffering for the rest of the day. And for that reason, I am so thankful for this pretty purple smoothie.

Just a reminder that what works for one person’s body, may not work for your body, and that’s okay. Take care of yourself, you will be much happier. 😊💗

This little bottle is my go-to quick fix when my stomach is in pain. I do not leave home without it.

If you know me, you know I get severe pains in my stomach and lower abdomen if I do basically anything outside of my norm when it comes to eating. While I work with doctors to figure out the cause, I keep a few things with me at all times in case something triggers the pain.

This is an essential oil mixture by local creator . For me, if I roll it on my stomach/lower abdomen, I feel relief QUICKLY. I was always very skeptical of essential oils, but now I can say I am very thankful for them as simple, easy and safe treatment.

Read Katie’s story about what got her in to making essential oil products on the link in my bio. They are natural and non-toxic, which is something that can be hard to find these days. I also now use lavender for sleep and relaxation.

I highly recommend giving essential oils a try before you take medication or use other topical treatments with potential harmful ingredients. 💗

I love watching the wonderful women I work with improve their health and feel better! It makes my heart SO happy. 😊

One of my lovely ladies sent me this picture of her weekly smoothie prep! And like, how beautiful is this picture?! Full of fresh fruits and veggies getting ready to be frozen for a week of healthy, delicious meals!

Setting yourself up for success by prepping meals, ingredients or frozen smoothie fixings is one of the best things you can do for your future self and your health! Give it a try while you have some time this weekend.. you’ll be thankful once the madness of the work week starts. ☺️

I hope you all have a lovely Saturday. 💗

Prepping for tonight’s class at a new, local cafe with this beautiful bowl.

I can’t wait to share more wellness information with another amazing group of women this evening. 💗

Also, (side note) is definitely a cafe to check out for a drink, snack, breakfast or lunch. Their food is AMAZING, the atmosphere is bright with good seating, and they really spent time on their menu (plus they have a really good kids menu). It’s fresh and delicious. Check them out!

Anyway, Happy Friday, friends!

The Wilmington Greek Festival is here!! This may be my favorite festival experience of the year. 😊

I love diving into other cultures whether through travel, meeting new people, learning, or just trying new foods.

I HIGHLY recommend checking out the Greek Festival this weekend. It is such a great atmosphere- full of Greek culture, music, dancing, vendors and LOTS of delicious food! Much of it is handmade by volunteers, and profits go to the community. It is a MUST in my book.💗

A stress-free sweet treat: Dark Chocolate.

Many women ask me how to satisfy their sweet tooth without eating(or feeling) like crap. Well, there are many ways to do this, but dark chocolate is a great go-to. I pretty much have a piece after every meal.

Plain dark chocolate that is 70% cocoa (or more) is packed with antioxidants -More than a cup of green tea or glass of red wine! The key to all desserts is eating in moderation.

I like to eat some dark chocolate with berries and nuts. This satisfies my sweet tooth, while also keeping me satiated for longer. Dark-chocolate covered strawberries are also a personal fav.. and lucky for us, it’s strawberry season! 😊🍓🍫

, , and a local favorite are all brands that I enjoy often. But really there’s a lot of delicious dark chocolate out there, just check the label. ☺️ Happy Saturday!

Why am I drinking aloe this morning? Because I am always willing to try new things, especially when they are beneficial to health. And this pretty baby was delicious!

The aloe vera trend has not picked up quite like celery juice☺️ but there are LOTS of benefits we can get from aloe, other than just it’s magical power to soothe our sunburn.

Digestion, hydration and anti-inflammatory properties are why most people drink aloe. It is full of enzymes, antioxidants, minerals, fatty acids, healthy sugars, and TWO hormones that aid in healing wounds and fighting inflammation.

I put half a lemon (without the skin), and a large chunk of aloe in the blender with about 4 cups of water, and got two full glasses. You can also buy aloe in bottled form, but it’s really hard to find it pure. Many bottled aloes have lots of sugars and other additives that you don’t particularly want in your body.

If you’re interested in giving it a try, I recommend checking out a new farmers market or international market and see if you can find the plant.

I’ll link an article in my bio on the full run-down of the benefits of aloe. It’s pretty magical. Happy Friday! 💕 @ Wilmington, Delaware

You know those nights where you stay up late, spending time with friends or family, catching up, having fun, relaxing and EATING? Often waking up still full, maybe bloated, maybe a little sad. ☺️ First of all, it is okay. It’s one day of your life.

Last night I had the amazing opportunity to hang out with my best friend and catch up on life, relax and enjoy each other’s company. We also ATE a large three course meal, followed by 11 pm pound cake, ALL the whipped cream, chocolate and berries.

Today, instead of beating myself up, I am feeling grateful for my fun evening with one of my favorite people, but I am also moving on with my life. Yes I woke up full, but I am human and my hunger will come back.

I have lots of people ask me about late night eating. My view is that if you’re hungry, you need to eat no matter what time of day. And if your late night eating is due to enjoying life, traditions or having fun with friends or family, then go for it. The most important thing is to not beat yourself up for it, and tune in to your body. If you wake up in the morning hungry, eat- do NOT “punish” yourself for the late night snack. If you wake up still full and not feeling great, drink some water and go for a walk.

It’ll all be okay. Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. 😊💗
