Wilson Medical Center is committed to always providing excellent care to our community. Our 294-bed facility has provided services to residents of Wilson County and surrounding communities for more than 55 years. We offer an array of services, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency medicine, imaging and much more. We also have nine multi-specialty physician clinics, a wound center, radiation oncology center, outpatient imaging center, a rehabilitation and nursing care center and a 5-star day care. At Wilson Medical Center, we take great pride in recognizing team members who make a lasting impact on our patients’ experiences. The Gold Star of Patient Care Award is a special honor, chosen each month based on direct patient feedback. This award highlights those who go above and beyond, demonstrating compassion, exceptional care, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for every patient. This month’s recipient received a survey that speaks about the incredible care they provide:

Today, Wilson Medical Center proudly donated a record-breaking 5,000 pounds of food to our community partner, The Wesley Shelter.

This food drive was a department competition, and we were thrilled to see almost every department step up to help our neighbors in need.
🏆 A special shoutout to our Emergency Department, who led the way by donating an incredible 1,813 pounds of food on their own!

Thank you to our staff who gave so generously. Your compassion and teamwork make a real difference in our community. 💖

The Wesley Shelter provides 24-hour services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking right here in Wilson County. We are honored to support their life-changing work. 🤝

Tuesday was all about Santa vs. the Grinch, and Wilson Medical Center was full of festive fun! We spotted a few Grinches roaming the halls, but no worries—they couldn’t steal the joy. 🎄✨ Wilson Medical Center Gingerbread House Competition! ✨🎄
Our teams have been getting into the holiday spirit with a little friendly competition! This year, 17 departments participated in our Gingerbread House Contest. Each team received a specific set of supplies from our Employee Engagement Team, and they could only use what was provided. The creativity and teamwork were incredible!

Now we need YOU, our Wilson community, to help choose the winner! 🙌
