This Valentine’s Day, our little ones at The Growing Tree Child Care Center celebrated in the sweetest way — by spreading love for Heart Month! ❤️

The children colored and sorted hearts and delivered them to their neighbors at Wilson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center!

Valentine’s Day is all about love, and Heart Month reminds us to care for our hearts — inside and out. We are so proud of our kiddos for sharing both! 💗

Think you might have the flu? Here’s what to do to take care of yourself and protect others:

- Stay home and rest. Avoid work, school or public places. Rest helps your body fight the infection and prevents it from spreading to others.

- Monitor your symptoms. Keep track of severity, duration and any changes in symptoms like fever, chills, cough, sore throat, body aches, fatigue, headache, runny or stuffy nose.

- Hydrate and manage symptoms. Drink plenty of water or herbal tea. Over-the-counter medications can help with symptoms. Avoid alcohol and smoking.

- Seek medical care if needed. Call your healthcare provider if you experience trouble breathing, chest pain, severe weakness, confusion, persistent high fever or worsening symptoms, especially if you are pregnant, older or have chronic conditions. Early treatment can help reduce complications.

- Protect your community. Cover coughs and sneezes, wash your hands frequently and stay home until you’ve been fever-free for at least 24 hours without medication.

❤️ Happy Cardiac Rehabilitation Week! ❤️

Cardiac Rehabilitation helps patients heal, regain strength, and rebuild confidence after a heart event—but it’s also about hope, education, and lifelong heart health.

What truly sets our team apart is the way we care. Our purpose is rooted in the meaningful relationships we build with our patients. Supported by a diverse team of nurses, exercise specialists, and respiratory therapists, we meet patients where they are and walk alongside them every step of the journey.

Through personalized exercise, education, and encouragement, we empower patients to understand their diagnosis and choose healthier lifestyles every day. 💪🫀

During this week, and throughout Heart Month, we appreciate our team, who provide exceptional care to our patients. Thank you, Grayson Parker, Valerie Kersey, Haley Pearce, and Katelyn Pridgen!
