This Sunday, April 19, Jennifer Lynn Hudson and Luke Johnson will be leading us in a Sacred Earth sound meditation experience. Both will be sharing their original music and medicine songs. Jennifer has been a board certified music therapist for 25 years and has focused her service on offering drum circles, Reiki, sound healing, and teaching at Shenandoah University. Luke has been a talented singer/ songwriter and performed locally for 33 years creating his own brand of funky mountain soul music. Together they tour the area as The Luke Johnson Band and offer sound bath journeys, classes, and unique healing musical experiences. Reach out by email for more information about Jennifer and Luke.

Wow. I am still blown away by yesterday's Spring Cleanse and Renew Deep Relaxation Sound Immersion. What a beautiful gathering of souls and sounds. I am still feeling so humbled and honored by the Grace. I offer my deep gratitude to my co-facilitator Luke Johnson, to Stacy Martin Piedmonte for supporting us with multiple tasks, to all of the fabulous people at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Shenandoah Valley, and to everyone who brought their beautiful listening Presence. I can't wait to do it again on May 17. Save the date!

Celebrating MLK, I’m dreaming of a day when all of the ancestral lines of the human family are healed from the trauma imposed by people who decided to use violence and aggression to oppress and gain false power. A day when the illusion of our separation is shattered and our differences do not feel like divisions. Today I’m standing in the gap, holding the vision, and Being Love. Dear Sacred Rhythms Community,
It is with mixed feelings that I am announcing this will be the last Sacred Rhythms drum circle until further notice. I am doing my best to dance to the rhythm of Love in my life and I am hearing the call to let these circles rest and breathe so that they can be reborn in 2025 in some new form yet unknown. As with any letting go there is sadness alongside a quickened excitement for what the new form may be. I cannot adequately put into words how grateful I am for every one of you who have drummed with me. I can't wait to join you in the circle again next year in a new way.
So let's jam on this fantastic Fall Full Moon in Aires!
