A big thank you to Gore's Meats for making sure we have our sausage for tomorrow!

Do I smell sausage? It must be time for Kiwanis Pancake Day! We just delivered over 2,000 pounds of Gore's stuffed sausage for tomorrow!

Come to the Jim Barnett Park War Memorial Building from 8am-4pm for delicious pancakes and sausage! Tickets are $8 at the door for adults, $3 for children 4-6, and children 3 and under eat free.

Proceeds this year will go to Froggy's Closet. The fine folks at the Kiwanis club will also be accepting donations of baby wipes and new children's card or board games.

Shenandoah Valley
A non-profit organization that collects, sanitizes and gift durable
mobility equipment to low-income uninsured or under-insured adults in
Virginia. Equipment that can be donated included: Manual and power
wheelchairs, Walkers and wheeled walkers, Canes and crutches, Bath and
toilet aids, Hoyer lifts, scooters, power chairs and more.

Oct 8th guest speaker: Tim Anderson, a fellow Kiwanian and world
traveler, shared his hiking experiences over the past 20 years with our
club. Tim and his daughter had a long-time goal which they fulfilled
this past summer - hiking Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. He has hiked 36
of the 50 highest peaks in the U.S. and plans on hiking Machu Picchu in
the Andes Mountains of Peru.
