This monkey boy has an MRI this morning. I have a love hate relationship with these early early appts. I also get sick to my stomach every time he has to have an MRI. He’s getting to the point where he is letting us know that he doesn’t want to go. He says “no doctor, no doctor” and touches his port. He only ever wants to go to school and home! His 2 safe places. My heart aches that he has to go thru this and has every 3 mths since he was 3.5! He’s 12 and the teenager attitude has started to show thru! Wow, and with autism if it’s on his mind he DOESN’T forget! Say some prayers for us!

Met someone today who recognized me from our page. Makes me feel like I’m doing something right! When the rest of the world is falling apart sometimes someone saying “hey I know you” then telling you how much your page about your own journey helps them. Reminds me, I started this page and committed to be so open about our journey because if I could help 1 person then I’ve done my job. She remind me how I have helped so many. 🩵🩵Thank you for that blessing and reminder today

Helping Daddy with blowing out his birthday candles and a few pics of adaptive PE and OT at school this week, we went to oncology yesterday, his platelets dropped more this month, but not too much to be worried, I really want them to level out. He’s doing so well and can’t wait to see what he does in 2026! Thank you all for loving our boy!

At Liam’s Thanksgiving Celebration at school, they had a parade and games, a hayride and Liam’s more concerned about getting his backpack going home! Lol 😂 I am so tired, not to mention somebody *cough cough* decided 2:30 am was a great time to wake up

Now to get port accessed and draw labs and Oncology! Liam hadn’t been eating we took him to the pediatrician last Wednesday afternoon and he had lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. So between all his drs they decided zofran 3x a day and add benedryl in am and before bed if needed, boy is finally eating again! He asked for cheeseballs this morning before even opening his eyes, when I woke them up 😂😂 make me feel so much better. no more gagging just looking at food, and takes his medicine with ease!

Excuse my horrible singing, singing ABCs and counting down he knows there is an end, so it’s only was to keep him calm. There was a time he would NEVER even let touch him with the echocardiogram when he was awake. They have been doing them during his sedation with his MRIs every 3 months so he doesn’t stress out, Dr only requested a small pic but they were able to do the entire echo and he stayed calm the entire time! I am so proud of him!!!!!
