This past Friday evening, our team had the opportunity to step away from the clinic and spend some time together celebrating the belated Holiday season at District 1 Brewing Company in Stevens Point. From friendly bags competitions to some very competitive Jenga matches, it was a night filled with laughter, connection, and appreciation for the incredible people who make up the Pinnacle family.

We are so grateful for our team and the culture we continue to build together — and we’re thankful for the patients and community who allow us to do what we love every day.

🏃‍♂️💙 Pinnacle Performance Therapy’s 3rd Annual Running Challenge Begins Today! 💙🏃‍♀️

Today, February 1st, kicks off our 3rd annual Running Challenge, and our team is excited to spend the month moving with purpose while giving back to our community.

Throughout the month of February, Pinnacle Performance Therapy will be donating:
👉 $1 for every mile run by our team or
👉 $1 for every 10 minutes of physical activity completed by our team

This year, all proceeds will be donated to Team Rapids, a fantastic local organization that supports youth athletics and activities throughout the Wisconsin Rapids community.

We’re also inviting community members to join us! If you’d like to participate, you can pledge to match our miles or minutes of activity—whether that means logging your own movement, making a donation, or simply cheering us on. Every bit of movement and support helps make a difference.

Movement has the power to create change, and we’re proud to turn our team’s activity into meaningful support for local kids and programs. Thank you to Team Rapids for the impact you continue to make—and thank you to our community for supporting initiatives like this year after year.

On January 25th, 2026, Pinnacle Performance Therapy proudly celebrated two years of serving the Wisconsin Rapids community—and we are incredibly grateful.

What started as a small team with a big vision has grown into something truly special, thanks to the trust, support, and encouragement of our patients, partners, and community. These past two years have been filled with meaningful connections, growth, and opportunities to give back.

As we reflect, here are just a few milestones we’re thankful for:

• Having the privilege of treating over 725 individuals in our community
• Growing from a staff of 2 to 5, becoming more like a family along the way
• Introducing a No Referral Needed Care Model to the community
• Becoming the school-based physical therapy provider for the Wisconsin Rapids School District
• Hosting a free speed camp for local youth, focused on movement, performance, and injury prevention
• Sponsoring local athletics, community events and community partners

None of this would be possible without the support of our community. Thank you for believing in us, trusting us with your care, and allowing us to be part of your lives. We are excited for what the future holds and look forward to continuing to serve Wisconsin Rapids for many years to come.

We’re proud to share that Heather McCarthy, PT, DPT is now a Rock Steady Boxing Certified Clinician, expanding the services we can offer individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.

Rock Steady Boxing is an evidence-based program designed specifically for people with Parkinson’s, focusing on improving strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and confidence. Through intentional, high-energy boxing movements, participants are empowered to fight back against the progression of symptoms—both physically and mentally.
