Check your ferritin folks, even if you're not pregnant! It's linked to anxiety in women and a whole host of other symptoms

This post mentions research performed by Augustine Colebrook. Because of this research, I offer ferritin testing as part of my routine lab work for my Midwifery clients.
𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝑭𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏?
Ferritin is your body’s excess iron stores. Think of it as your body’s iron pantry. When your cabinets are low, your body reaches into its pantry. Unless your pantry is bare, as with hypoferritinemia.
𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒐𝒘 𝑭𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏:
Common Core Symptoms:
1. Exceptional fatigue, Burnout, Brain Fog
2. Reduced mental awareness, Memory lapses
3. Absent-mindedness and poor concentration, Difficulties finding words
4. Headache
5. Hair loss
6. Muscle and/or joint pain, Throbbing leg muscles nightly with mild to extreme
discomfort, muscle twitching
7. Edema
8. Shortness of breath and dyspnea
9. High resting heart rate and rapid acceleration of heart rate during exertion; palpitations, Tachycardia, Heart Palpitations
