The office is permanently closed in Woodsfield. All of the patient records will be available at the Barnesville Vision Center with Dr. Zach Leach and Dr. Melissa Leach. You may reach the office at 740-425-7000.

Hello Everyone,

I would like to reach out to clear up any confusion and sort out any rumors that are going around. Dr. McDonald and I are sorry to say that the Eye Care Center of Monroe County will officially be closing on September 30, 2022, due to circumstances out of our control. This has not been a decision that I have made lightly. Before these unforeseen circumstances in July of 2022, I had no intention to leave Woodsfield.

August 29, 2022, will be the last day that we will have a doctor in Woodsfield to see patients. However, I am accepting all patients at the Barnesville Vision Center at 177 East Main Street, Barnesville, OH 43713. All patient records will go with me, and patient care will resume as normal starting on September 6, 2022. After this date, I will be seeing patients at the Barnesville Vision Center five days a week. We are actively reaching out to our patients who are already scheduled at ECCOMC beyond August 29 and rescheduling them in Barnesville.

⚠️ Overwear of contacts, sleeping in lenses, along with other unhealthy habits will lead to corneal infections. ⚠️

Follow the directions for lens replacement on your contact case.

Healthy contact lens wear is important to keeping your eyes healthy and bright. Overuse of contact lens wear can cause damage to your eye.

Make sure you follow the instructions for your specific type of contact and do NOT overwear them. It will cause damage to your eye- sometimes damage that doesn’t go away. 👀
