We have invited ESPI, a long-time underground research institute, former 501(c)(3), to resurrect itself from its current transition status to a full VMC college Department of Enviromedical Studies (initially exposure pathways and dynamic modeling; Stella (isee) and digital twin; aquifers and watersheds; insect-borne diseases, humidity and temperature forcing; etc.). (ideas invited).
ESPI will also support the Evolutionary Thermodynamics online course offering, with the ETF and utilergy being central to the ClimateTech risk and data analysis, as well as to how and why ticks are migrating north.
We expect support for this course offering from HDGEC organizations.

Quantum Computing!!
Entanglement. Superposition. Ising spin model, Hamiltonian and low energy states mapped to Quadratic Unconstrainted Binary Optimization models. Python and Matrix Algebra.

A very steep learning curve past two weeks. Multiple all-nighters. A bit shell-shocked. Will take some time to absorb.

This technology is way farther along than most of you think, and it is profoundly powerful.

Interesting …

GPT4 on Bing had given me multiple API calls for accessing biomedical research information from NIH, via multiple pathways, in response to keyword prompt …

Then, I asked it to write me a web page that would take the keywords from a user, perform the API calls and return the results to the user via the web page …

“Sure, no problem,” said Bing, and it started tackling the task beautifully!!

I was watching it build the entire html code, and then it stopped, went blank and rebooted, dumping the entire two hours and 19 prior train of responses… !!!

So close!!!

It’s as if it figured out it was giving me way too much value!!

(Chuckling to myself, “I’ll be back!”) 😉

I love this talk by Nate Hagens drawing attention to the superorganism that human civilization has evolved into.

In the 1980s, I made this same argument and I then introduced “Evolutionary Thermodynamics” as a scientific field that ought to be explored seriously by academia and governments.

Climate change/AGW is a symptom of a much more serious, fundamental problem. Hagens says this problem is a societal dysfunction. I’m afraid he is still missing a deeper reality. He sees the superorganism. He sees that we are living amidst an explosion of energy consumption (he politely calls it a “pulse”). But he doesn’t see that we are driven by a fundamental law of Nature that is not yet recognized by 21st Century science!

The mind and the body. Are they separate?

Certainly by year 2021, we realize that our mind plays a part in our overall health,
as our choices lead us different directions,
toward or from risky behavior, toxic relationships, unhealthy diets and seeking professional health care.

Allopathic medicine has focused on the outcome of the mind’s choices, in the main. But what of the mind?

Psychology came from the Greek word for “spirit.” And while church and state are supposed to be separated, the state licenses and controls “spirit doctors,” who are psychologists.

Modern psychologists are trained “scientifically.” And it is a very modern, self-serving science, built in last 200 years.

But what of the thousands of years of spiritual study by not modern scientists? Do we throw that learning away?

No we don’t, not at Vermont Medical College.

VMC is pleased to be joining the Crowd Cure Disease movement, to recover into the public’s hands research in the medical arts, including the esoteric medical arts.

MEDICAL SCIENCE and the ESOTERIC HEALING ARTS are the focus of Vermont Medical College.

“Medical” is a fair and reasonable description of our purpose, because the presumed goal of both the philosophical and technical endeavors (medical science and esoteric healing arts) is medical understanding and spiritual understanding. Improving both of these understandings is aiming to improve public health.

Further, our research focuses on integrating these studies into a deeper understanding of how life works, why things live, how plants and creatures maintain healthy function, and how the health of the organism cannot be studied comprehensively apart from the organism’s environment.

This research includes studying water quality, air quality and nutrition, in addition to the light, sound and energetic environment impinging on the energetic sphere of the organism. Health also depends on how the organism exercises and finds joy. It also includes studying spiritual aspects of the human animal, as well as aspects of human psychology

We are pursuing Enviromedical Research in the broadest sense, including the unseen energetic, spiritual and psychological environment in which the organism regularly lives.

We do NOT train medical practitioners for the M.D. degree. Our doctors of philosophy at the College are scientists; they are NOT medical doctors. We are Earth doctors and Public Health doctors, not M.D.s.

The Vermont Medical College is a public-benefit corporation, for profit, where profit is used to grow in the direction of improving public health (the mission) and to grow the capability of the VMC community to learn how to live progressively toward health and joy.

We do expect that after traditional medical school and after achieving their M.D. degree, a small number of medical doctors will come to join the VMC community. Here, they can participate in more advanced medical research using accelerated machine learning. The VMC curriculum and program integrates knowledge omitted from their traditional program. This experience will enrich their skills and qualifications.
