🌙 Under the Yule Moon is out today.
My first sapphic story, and my first venture into fantasy.

This little novella means so much to me, not because it’s flawless, but because it marks the beginning of something new. When I started writing Under the Yule Moon, I wasn’t sure where I fit. I’d spent years grounded in contemporary storytelling, in rhythm and realism, and suddenly I found myself reaching for something softer, more atmospheric, more magical.

At times, I overthought it. I tried to sound like fantasy instead of simply letting the story become what it needed to be. But in the process, I learned, I grew, I found new edges to my voice and a new kind of joy in crafting stories with quiet spells and softer worlds.

Under the Yule Moon isn’t perfect, but it’s honest, and it’s the first step toward the kind of magic I want to keep exploring.
