Today, our PA students took part in an age old Assumption University tradition, Duck Day. This campus tradition celebrates the return of the AU ducks back to the duck pond and symbolizes the arrival of spring!

Happy Good Friday!

The Class of 2028 is enjoying a day off today, but last week our Culture, Community, and Outreach Chairs put together an Easter egg hunt for students!

Such a fun way to bring our cohort together and celebrate the season in the midst of didactic year 🐰🐣

Quarter 1 = DONE

The PA Class of 2028 officially wrapped up their first quarter of didactic year after 20 exams, 5 practicals, 3 papers, and 2 presentations.

Now, our future PA’s are celebrating their accomplishments at . Congrats to our PA-S1s!!! We are so excited to watch you all continue to grow and learn throughout the year 💙🩺

Welcome to American Samoa ✈️

Wishing our first group of students from the Class of 2027 the best of luck as they begin their journey in American Samoa! Over the next 10 weeks, a group of 8 AU PA-S2 students will complete two clinical rotations at LBJ Medical Center.

Today in Physical Diagnosis Lab 👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️

In lab today, we practiced the pelvic exam using simulation mannequins as we prepare for tomorrow’s practical. With each lab session, we continue building confidence and developing the skills needed for clinical practice!!

Meet the Assumption University Physician Assistant Program Class of 2028!

On January 5th, we officially began our 28-month journey through the AU PA Program. More than halfway through our first quarter, we have already built a strong foundation through lectures and hands-on clinical labs. We are so excited to share this experience with friends and family as well as current and future PAs!
