🧐We may be a bit quieter here while we’re working on something exciting and we can’t wait to share it with you!!

Of course it’s taking longer than planned 🤷‍♀️ but we hope it will be ready in just a few weeks. And for a fun surprise it’s neither garden nor baking related!

AND plans are taking shape for lots of fun public events between late March and early May. Because we all need more flowers and spring feels in our lives right now, right?!

👀Double confession time!!

☝️Confession 1: I’m lazy. Well, a lazy gardener anyways. Sometimes I don’t get around to trimming every dead flower. Sometimes I can’t even think about the year ahead when I’m still in the thick of harvest season.

Sometimes when you just let life take its course, you’re rewarded with seeds from those dead flowers. Everything works out. Leave them be, they do all the work, you reap all the rewards. It’s so much less complicated than it seems!

✌️Confession 2: This “tip” is really just my random thoughts as I look at these seemingly dead flower bits… bits that I know are going to burst to life very soon. So tuck this seed saving tip away for later but keep in mind NOW to not be so hard on yourself.

Its ok to take the time you need. When you’re ready, cut those dead flowers, let them dry out and store them in a paper bag. They’re ready, whenever you are, for another season full of beautiful blooms. 🌸💕

Blooming Table Events will bring a beautiful assortment of blooms, vases, and everything you need to create a fun floral bouquet to take home. Liston’s will have martini flights and food specials. Bring your besties or your special someone for a sweet evening!

💚 Our eco-friendly mission includes caring for the planet AND its people. The brutality being inflicted on our fellow humans is heartbreaking and soul-crushing. Now more than ever it’s important to practice building community. Be kind. Be a good neighbor. Expand who you consider a friend to include more of your community members.

They want to tear us down, isolate and separate us. They want us to live in fear. Instead let’s resist, unite, and live compassionately. Together we hold the power. They want us to forget that. We the people will never forget.
