New Laundromat – Progress Update

Demo is underway at Academy Plaza as we begin transforming two retail spaces into one 8,000 square foot laundromat.

Next up, we’ll finish demolition and begin shoring the building this Friday. Once shoring is complete, we’ll remove an existing block wall and install new structural steel to open up the space.

A lot of coordination and structural work goes into combining units like this and we’re proud to keep Modern Spin’s expansion moving forward.

Capital Health | Ewing, NJ
30,000 Sq Ft Medical Facility – In Progress

We’re making great progress at Capital Health’s new School of Nursing in Ewing, NJ. This 30,000 sq ft interior build-out has officially passed all rough inspections. Walls are closed up, and we’re now moving into the painting phase.

Residential Renovation – In Progress

Elrath Construction is underway on a residential renovation project for Princeton University. With permits approved last week and abatement completed earlier this week, our team began rough framing and is moving swiftly through the early phases.

This project reflects our continued partnership with the University and our ability to mobilize quickly and execute with precision.

Internet Security Office Fit-Out – Completed

Elrath Construction recently completed a 7,400 sq ft commercial office fit-out for an internet security company on the 3rd floor of Carnegie Center in Princeton, NJ. The scope included full demolition, MEP upgrades (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), and the installation of a Teknion glass wall system delivering sleek, modern offices without compromising acoustic performance.

We partnered with ICI for the flooring and Teknion systems to bring this high-tech workspace to life. From early construction planning through final walkthrough, this project was a turnkey success, designed and built to support productivity and innovation.

Back 9 Golf | Yardley, PA
Commercial Fit-Out Completed

We recently wrapped up construction on the newest Back 9 Golf location at the Wegmans Shopping Center in Yardley. This commercial interior build-out included all new underground plumbing, concrete slab, electrical and gas service upgrades, and custom wall prep for simulator bays.

From initial demo to final finishes, our team worked closely with Back 9 to ensure a seamless, on-time opening. This is our second project with the brand, and we’re proud to be part of their continued expansion.

8,000 SF | Now Open

Just wrapped up construction on another Modern Spin location, this time in Bensalem. This 5-month project started with a full interior demo of a former clothing store and involved serious infrastructure upgrades:

✔️ 1000A electric service

Modern Spin Laundromat | Hamilton, NJ

Behind the scenes of this clean, high-tech laundromat is a serious infrastructure build. From high-pressure gas and manifold duct systems to air intake and utility upgrades, this project called for detailed mechanical coordination from day one.

Our team helped handle the full application process for gas, electric, and water services before construction even began, ensuring the necessary systems were in place to support high energy demand.

These are the projects we love. Mechanically complex, purpose-built, and engineered for performance.

Lawrenceville, NJ | Future Restaurant

This project started as a garage behind an oil company. We’ve been transforming it into a future restaurant space through a full adaptive reuse and site improvement process.

Our scope included extensive grading, curbing, sidewalk installation, new landscaping, and utility upgrades. We brought in new water, gas, and electric services and replaced the old garage doors with energy-efficient aluminum storefronts.

Structural work inside supports new HVAC, and stucco finishing and paving are wrapped up just in time for winter.

These are the kinds of builds that take vision, planning, and precision from the ground up.

Capital Health | School of Nursing | Ewing, NJ

After completing their large primary care facility in Hamilton, Capital Health brought us in for their new School of Nursing in Ewing. This project spans over 30,000 square feet and is scheduled to be completed in about three months.

Permitting can be a challenge in this area, but our in-house team helped move the process forward quickly, allowing us to start without delay. That trust and track record with both the client and township made all the difference.

We are proud to be a part of another healthcare project that will serve the community for years to come.

At Elrath Construction, we do not invoice upfront. Your first bill comes the following month and only for the work that is already completed.

We also hold a 10 percent retainer that is not due until the job is finished, your punch list is complete, your CO is in hand, and your doors are open for business.
