It is Jan 13th, and not only were we blessed with 61Β° weather, but the mountain made an outstanding and absolutely gorgeous appearance. We are supposed to have similar weather until next Tuesday.
Honestly, my brain, body, and heart really needed this.
The weather here can be ruthless during the winter. We get nasty wind storms and the rain is never-ending. It can be tough on the horses with all the wet pastures (though we have always been very fortunate to make it out every year with minimal set backs) and the constant rain. Then you have the super short days where the sun doesn't come up til after 7am and is gone by 4:15pm.
I also work year-round. Not just with my horses twice a day, but as a Massage Therapist and Nutrition Specialist, I am out in the field constantly. Weather rarely cancels appointments. Cold, rain, wind, snow - I am there because I have a job to do, horses and riders who depend on me to make it all happen, and I am grateful to have such amazing clients.
I am incredibly blessed. Period, dot. Honestly. But there are days where I am like, "No, thank you." π€£π€£
So here is a picture of this amazing view I am so lucky to see constantly, and a reminder that while seasons (life and weather) come and go, we just have to find the best in all of it! π
