OLIGOSP£RMIA
Oligospermia is the m£dical term for a low sp£rm count. It means that the s£men (the fluid ej@culated) contains fewer sp£rm than normal.

· The Definition: It is diagnosed when a s£men analysis shows fewer than 15 million speπm per milliliter of semen.
· The Impact: It lowers the chances of f£rtilizing an egg, making it more difficult for a couple to conceive naturally.
· Severity: It can be:
· Mild: Sp£rm counts are on the lower end but not absent.
· Severe: Sp£rm counts are very low (often below 5 million/mL).
· Common Causes: It can be caused by v@ricoceles (enlarged veins in the scr0tum), hormonal imbalances, inf£ctions, g£netic issues, or lifestyle factors like sm0king, drug use, or excessive heat exposure.
Note: Oligosp£rmia is different from azoospermia, which is the complete absence of sp£rm in the s£men.
